Job Description
We are looking for friendly and attentive Waiters and Waitresses to join our team and provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Waiter or Waitress, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing prompt and courteous service, taking orders accurately, and delivering food and beverages efficiently.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and describe menu items, specials, and promotions to guests
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure that food is prepared and served promptly
- Following proper serving etiquette and standards in serving food and beverages to guests
- Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns or requests
- Anticipate guests’ needs and provide additional service as needed
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and reconcile checks at the end of each shift
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a waiter or waitress
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
