Job Description
We are seeking experienced and talented Carpenters to join our team and contribute to the construction and renovation of residential and commercial projects. As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in shaping and building structures, fixtures, and frameworks according to blueprints and specifications.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry projects
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools
- Install and assemble structures, fixtures, cabinets, furniture, and other carpentry items
- Construct, erect, and repair buildings, walls, floors, roofs, and framing systems
- Install doors, windows, trim, molding, and hardware according to project requirements
- Perform finishing touches such as sanding, staining, and painting to ensure a polished appearance
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on construction sites to coordinate work activities
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including tools and equipment
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid carpentry experience and certification
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Good physical stamina
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
