Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team and provide essential care and support to our clients. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with activities of daily living and promoting their overall well-being. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up living spaces
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Engaging in conversation and activities with clients
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical or mental health status to appropriate medical personnel or family members
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors to ensure the safety and well-being of clients
- Maintain documentation of care provided and any observations or incidents
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Completion of basic caregiving training or certification program is a plus
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with clients
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if applicable)
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
- Experience with assisting individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, but not required
