Job Description
We are seeking experienced and dependable Truck Drivers to join our team and contribute to the safe and efficient transportation of goods. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering goods to customers and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your professionalism and commitment to safety will help maintain the reputation for excellence in transportation services.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as trucks and tractor-trailers to transport goods to designated locations
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
- Handle paperwork such as bills of lading, delivery receipts, and shipping documents
- Keep vehicles clean and properly maintained
- Reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver preferred
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to safely operate and maneuver commercial vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
