Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced and skilled Welders to join various teams and contribute to the fabrication and assembly of metal components. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in creating durable and high-quality welded structures according to specifications and blueprints.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to plan and execute welding projects
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques and materials for each job
- Weld metal components together using various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Inspect welded joints and structures for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of welding equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the welding area
- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities and meet production goals
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked
Required Qualifications
- Valid welding certification and license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and processes
- Knowledge of welding materials, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
- Good physical stamina
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
Desired Skills
- Experience with metal fabrication techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with welding codes and standards such as AWS and ASME
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
